To mark the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings, Normandie Tourisme has joined Somme Tourisme and Somme Battlefields for Peace in the ‘Normandy Battlefields for Peace’ solidarity movement.
The principle is the same: to collect donations from patrons and visitors to the D-Day beaches and museums. To ensure consistency, the NGO Handicap International and the Essentiem endowment fund remain the same partners as in the Somme Battlefields for Peace movement.
From now on, this approach will position Normandy as a destination of solidarity and humanism.
