In February 2023, thanks to donations collected via Somme Battlefields for Peace, an initial payment of €27,000 was made to Handicap International!
Handicap International works in war-torn countries to help civilians, who are the first victims of these conflicts. The donations collected are used to :
- Fighting against the bombing of civilians
- Helping with mine clearance and disarmament
- Supporting victims of armed conflict
